Our Dogs
I got my first dog in 2009, Jonesy, and from there it sparked the love of training and helping people have fun with their dogs

"Jonesy"
March 7, 2009 - October 16, 2021 (12yrs 7mo)
The first dog I owned.
The first dog my parents owned.
The dog that was smuggled into the dorms for a few weeks before I moved out.
The dog my landlord never knew was a Doberman until far after I moved in.
The breed I never knew was so difficult to rent with.
The dog I took to a PetsMart class because that's all I knew.
The one I left as a puppy when I deployed.
The dog that introduced me to my dog sports addiction... drugs would have been cheaper, for the record...
The dog that rehabilitated/fostered many other dogs, more than 20 in his life.

My first working dog, she taught me so much about how to be a better trainer. She wasn't the easiest dog to train, she had her moments of weird and at the time I didn't have nearly the knowledge I have now. But she got me there. She showed me what I was missing as a trainer. She ultimately went to live with a young girl and her family that wanted to get into the sport of Schutzhund. I couldn't have seen her go to a better family.
Jynx
Earned her CGC at the age of 11 she came to me from the Atlanta Doberman Rescue, her name was Clementine. She spent her days bossing the young kids (dogs) around and was lovingly referred to as the bear, because of her grumbles, but she was a big love bug.

I only had her for a year before her back end gave out and she could not longer walk.

Steele
Steele came to me after he retired from working at Y-12. Yes, the nuclear power plant in Tennessee. Instead of living his life out either at the kennel or with his previous owner being crated and rotated, Steele came to live with me, Jones, Jett, and Aiko. He watched Jones leave to go to my parents and he taught Aiko not to steal balls from other dogs. If you ever see Aiko's ear you will know what I mean. Steele was an amazing dog and was the first dog to have his mural in the training facility at Y-12. He accomplished 10 years of service before being retired officially. Unofficially he did his job every day, clearing rooms because that is what he did.

Jade
My first rescue Doberman. She was a throw-away. Someone left her and she was older, no one wanted her. On a whim, I said I would take her, within 48 hours she was at my home. I didn't have her long, you see when she was examined by my vet she had mammery tumors that had metastasized throughout her body, but for the short time she was with me she became Jonesy's best friend and partner in crime.
